“The children love the sessions and look forward to them happening.  The boys in year 2 are much more settled and the staff have used some of the teacher’s techniques of speaking to the children back in class.  There is definitely a big improvement with their engagement.”

– Headteacher, Castle Hill Infants

MusicLInc is designed for children and young people accessing their learning within mainstream and SEND settings, on a 1-to-1 basis.

MusicLinc is a support programme working 1-to-1 with autistic children and young people to promote and develop key skills to support how they access their learning in all areas of their schooling – Listening, Interacting, conNecting, Communicating.

MusicLinc uses a holistic, child-centred approach; bespoke resources and activities are developed and adapted to facilitate communication, social, emotional, physical & cognitive skills across 6 – 12 sessions. Working alongside key staff who support individuals involved in the project, all visible progress is monitored through on-going evaluation, observation and discussion to ensure maximum impact and promotion of best outcomes for all.

“One of our year 1 boys is having a tricky time, but the MusicLinc teacher keeps him in the room through his engagement with him and I saw today the child’s one-to-one using some of the language she had heard the teacher using”
