Why use HMS for your provision?

HMS is committed to working closely with schools and colleges to provide a comprehensive Music Education Service, including a wide range of additional music making opportunities that reach well beyond the end of the school day.

As the lead partner for the Hampshire Music Education Hub, you can be assured that our services meet Government targets on the range and quality of music education and are in line with national developments and policies.

We undertake regular evaluations and reviews of our services using feedback from headteachers from all phases of education.

Our staff are appointed following an interview and audition, and are subject to medical and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.

We constantly strive to develop our teachers through regular CPD opportunities, equipping them with a range of high-quality resources that enable them to deliver excellent services. HMS supports staff with an effective quality assurance programme including a comprehensive Performance Review process.

We also provide an annual report for each pupil receiving instrumental or vocal lessons. This helps schools to provide parents / guardians with a full picture about their child’s progress.
