World Music

“The teacher is absolutely incredible! Every year, the children love Samba. We are so lucky to have HMS World Music at our school and we really appreciate the enthusiasm and love for music they bring to our school. The parents were blown away by the very well attended concert most recently. We as teachers too absolutely love Samba and so excited for the children getting to participate.

“The HMS World music provision enabled us to explore a variety of instruments they have not experienced and included information about instruments that they had never heard about and taught how to play them correctly.”

– Headteacher

How many pupils can I involve?

Each instrument kit can accommodate up to 35 pupils (ideally one class). Where larger groups are required, an additional kit or tutor may sometimes be required. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

What is taught as part of the workshops?

All of the workshops are designed and planned to provide enrichment opportunities, whilst incorporating key education around the cultural and historical background of the instruments used. Once the workshop is booked, conversations between the tutor and school are opened up, with a chance to offer bespoke content, such as tying in with school topics or schemes of learning.
